- A Fresno County evacuation center for people is established at Clovis North High School, 2770 E International Ave, Fresno, CA 93730.
- A Madera County evacuation center is established at the Oakhurst Community Center, 39800 Road 425B, Oakhurst, CA 93644.
Via Santa Clara County – Emergency Management
- Evacuation Resource Centers are staffed by the American Red Cross. They assess needs and determine resources. Santa Clara County evacuees, go to these Evacuation Centers:

Due to fire activity in the area, evacuations are currently underway with the help of the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office and volunteers.
If you have not already been evacuated, please be prepared to leave your property if the fire continues to progress near your residence. Recommended actions include packing your vehicle with personal belongings, securing buildings, packing medications and ensuring your vehicle has fuel.

Residents who need emergency housing or have lost homes, Call American Red Cross 24 hour disaster dispatch helpline: 1-866-272-2237.
Not finding what you need? 2-1-1 is a FREE, easy-to-use source of information and referrals that connects you to the services you need. You can call 2-1-1 or 833-814-1211 , where a trained Call Specialist will provide confidential assistance, you can text your zip code to 898-211 or you can search for what you need via this link. Open 24/7, in 170 languages.
FEMA Assistance: People who suffered losses from the fires should contact their insurance companies first. Insurance delivers the majority of financial help in disasters. For losses not covered by insurance, people can register for disaster assistance in three ways: online through disasterassistance.gov, by using the FEMA App or by calling 800-621-3362 or 800-462-7585 (TTY). Monterey Co. Evacuation Centers and Shelters
EVACUATION SHELTERS provide sleeping and meal accommodations and are open 24 hours. . Evacuees must provide proof of residency in the fire evacuation zone, whether it is a current ID, bill statement, or vehicle registration.
- Carmel Middle School, 4380 Carmel Valley Rd, Carmel, CA 93923
- Salinas Valley Fairgrounds, 625 Division Street, King City. This shelter allows pets and RVs.
EVACUATION CENTERS are open from 8am to 8pm to provide referrals to housing, RV parking at Laguna Seca, snacks, water and information about available services.
- Monterey Conference Center, 1 Portola Plaza in Monterey, near Pacific Avenue.
- King City Library, 402 Broadway in King City
Animal Sheltering:
- The ONLY shelter that allows pets is the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds, 625 Division Street, King City.
- Call the SPCA at 831-264-5455 to get information on where and how to evacuate your animal. There is no pet management at any evacuation shelter other than the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds.
- Another option is to go to the Monterey County and Salinas combined shelters. These shelters, which are located at 144 Hitchcock Road in Salinas, are supporting evacuation efforts. They are accepting animals on a first come first serve basis and still have capacity.
RV Parking and Camping:
- The Salinas Valley Fairgrounds evacuation shelter allows RVs and is open 24 hours
- Laguna Seca Raceway Recreation Area | Recreational Vehicles (RV) Parking | 1021 Monterey Salinas Hwy, Salinas, CA 93908 | Evacuees with recreational vehicles must check in at the Monterey Conference Center shelter for a voucher to stay at the recreation area. Evacuees must be able to provide proof of an address that is in the evacuation zones, whether it is current ID, a bill or statement.
