UPDATE as of August 15, 2023:

San Jose City workers reached a deal with the City of San Jose and the strike has been averted.

SEIU Local 521 members are proud to stand with thousands of city workers in San Jose who are gearing up for a historic 3-day strike from August 15-17. Their fight is our fight! San Jose city employees work day in and out to support our public services and are fighting for better staffing to meet the needs of residents: from libraries to affordable housing to public transit, to San Jose International Mineta Airport, to Happy Hollow Park & Zoo, to emergency response, and more.
