Strike Ends: Court Workers Reach Tentative Agreement
Santa Cruz County Superior Court workers will be back at work Tuesday morning
Santa Cruz, Calif. – Santa Cruz County Superior Court workers reached a tentative agreement with the Court late Monday and will be back at work Tuesday morning following a two-day strike that began Friday, Nov. 18.
Workers and management had agreed to meet on Monday in the hopes of coming to an agreement so that services for the public could be resumed. Represented by Service Employees International Union Local 521, union members will be scheduling a vote on the contract in the next 24 hours.
