SAN JOSE — California workers and their allies will gather to see their Fight for $15 (#FightFor15) movement change history as Governor Brown signs into law a landmark minimum wage increase to $15 by 2022, and workers will pledge to continue fighting for change.
The Fight for $15 and a union movement has always been about more than a wage: it includes the enforcement of wage and hour laws, the enforcement of workplace rights such as paid sick days, and union rights and a strong voice for workers at work.
