To engage and maximize the power of 18 million Asian American Pacific Islanders living in the U.S., SEIU has re-launched the Asian American Pacific Islander Caucus (AAPI), furthering our commitment to reach out to all communities.
The Caucus will serve as a forum for the AAPI community to organize and plan to win reforms on pressing issues such as immigration reform, health care, income inequality and the environment within a culturally mindful context.

Meanwhile, the APALA Caucus continues to promote a greater understanding and respect in the Asian Pacific Islander cultures within the diverse membership of SEIU Local 521.
